At its annual multiday Cape Event, Global Partners and a wide range of supporters helped raise more than $352,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis|Multiple Sclerosis Fund. Held this year in Falmouth, Mass., June 2-3, the event featured golfing and fishing options, a silent auction, a cocktail hour, dinner and an inspirational presentation. Continuing its commitment to investing in local communities, Global Partners has donated $182,000 to 365 schools throughout New England, New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
The donations, which come from Global’s collaboration with ExxonMobil and its partnership with Educational Alliance, will specifically help fund Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programs in the schools.
