From Albany to Waltham and Hartford to South Portland, Global Partners stayed connected to its communities throughout 2021.
Throughout the past year, the company’s giving and fundraising efforts contributed more than $1.25 million to local community organizations. But beyond the financial support, the Global team got involved and led the work.
That included car wash fundraisers for schools and donating more than 15,000 delicious meals to hospital workers, first responders, and others. It also meant fueling the Albany Boys & Girls Club van, sponsoring after-school programs for kids, and cleaning up Norumbega Park near the Global office in Waltham, Mass.
Among many other efforts, Global also walked along with Mark and Mocha’s Roll/Stroll to raise awareness and funds to combat hungerand raised funds for an array of nonprofits through our annual Coin Box program. Global also donated to the Cystic Fibrosis & Multiple Sclerosis Fund to support medical research.
“Supporting the communities where we work and live is so important to us at Global Partners,” said Eric Slifka, Global Partners LP President& CEO. “These are our friends, our neighbors, our coworkers – our communities, and we are proud to be involved and support them any way we can.”
