In recognition of the company’s responsibility to act thoughtfully and sustainability for all customers, shareholders, employees and communities, Global has released its first-ever Corporate Social Responsibility Report.
Encapsulating all of 2021, the report highlights some of Global’s work in a range of areas, including diversity and inclusion, delivering value and empowering communities.
The CSR report includes a summary of Global’s business, a look at its community involvement – including raising $1.25 million for local causes – and its expanding efforts to create a work environment where everyone feels safe and can bring their full and best selves. That latter effort has included integrating diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the company.
The new report also includes sections on health and safety, sustainability and governance at Global.
“We are proud to publish our first Corporate Social Responsibility Report,” writes Erick Slifka, CEO of Global, in the report. “By caring for the environment, empowering people – particularly our employees and communities – and practicing responsible governance, we have formed the foundation for an enduring business that has stood the test of time and continues to thrive.”
