Continuing its commitment to investing in local communities, Global Partners has donated $182,000 to 365 schools throughout New England, New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

The donations, which come from Global’s collaboration with ExxonMobil and its partnership with Educational Alliance, will specifically help fund Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programs in the schools. An Alltown Fresh convenience store in Ayers, Mass., can now charge electric vehicles and stay powered during outages thanks to a cutting-edge, solar-powered microgrid that’s been installed at the site.

Global donates 16,000 gallons of heating oil to keep families warm

Continuing a tradition that spans more than 25 years, Global Partners has donated 16,000 gallons of heating oil across the Northeast to help keep families warm this winter.

The company, which has donated more than 16,000 gallons of heating oil over the past 25 years, works with local housing authorities and other nonprofits to distribute the oil throughout more than 15 cities and counties where it has terminals, including Revere, Mass.
